Lisa Evers

Lisa Evers is a well-known American journalist and presenter, best recognized for her work on FOX 5 News and her show Street Soldiers on television and radio in New York City. She began her career as an international model in the 1980s, working with Elite Model Management and appearing in publications such as Elle and Vogue. She is also a black belt in karate and was the first woman named "Woman of the Year" in the Black Belt Hall of Fame. Evers served as vice president of the Guardian Angels, a community patrol organization, and worked in radio alongside Curtis Sliwa. In the 1980s, she briefly ventured into the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), showcasing her self-defense skills. As a journalist, she has contributed to outlets like WINS, CNN Radio, and ABC Radio, conducting exclusive interviews with major hip hop figures such as 50 Cent and Jay-Z. She has also led humanitarian efforts to support communities affected by natural disasters like Hurricane Katrina and Superstorm Sandy.
