In the early 2000s, people began to disappear in the Moscow forest park. Captain Ovsyannikova suspects that a maniac is operating there, but her warnings are ignored. Only a year later, they manage to arrest Sergei Tereshkin, a Chikatilo fan who has dozens of murders on his account.
