Matthew Raymond "Matt" Dillon (born February 18, 1964) is an American actor and film director. He began his acting career in the late 1970s and quickly rose to fame as a teenage idol in the 1980s. Dillon made his feature film debut in Over the Edge (1979) and gained recognition with roles in My Body...guard (1980), Little Darlings (1980), and The Outsiders (1983).
