Tammy Townsend (born Tamara Townsend; August 17, 1970) is an American television actress and singer.
Townsend was born in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Anorene, an African American interior designer, and Thomas Townsend, an English judge with Yugos...lavian ancestry. Tammy is a graduate of the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. She has starring roles in numerous television sitcoms and plays. She was also the 1987 "Miss Talented Teen California."
