Mitsu Dan—whose real name is Shizuka Saitō—is a Japanese actress, writer, and model born on December 3, 1980. After studying at Showa Women's University, Mitsu Dan became known as an actress for her role in Be My Slave (Watashi no Dorei ni Narinasai), released in 2012.
The following year, she playe...d the lead role in the erotic thriller Sweet Whip (Amai Muchi), directed by Takashi Ishii. At the 37th Japan Academy Prize ceremony, Dan was recognized as the breakthrough actress of the year for her performance in Amai Muchi. In the following years, she appeared in numerous television series, variety shows, films, and advertising campaigns. Mitsu Dan also writes books in many genres, including an autobiographical book Mitsu no aji (A Taste of Honey).
